📢 Voice announcement: “Please check right wheel.”
If your VR 35 reports a right wheel error, it usually means the wheel is not rotating freely due to debris or blockage. This article guides you through how to safely inspect and clean the right wheel.
1. Power Off the Robot
-
Switch off the main power using the toggle switch on the robot’s side.
-
Remove the robot from the dock before starting.
2. Turn the Robot Over
-
Place the robot upside down on a flat, stable surface.
-
Locate the right wheel (on your left when the robot is upside down).
3. Inspect the Wheel Area
-
Check around and underneath the wheel for:
-
Tangled hair or thread
-
Dirt or small debris
-
Dust build-up near the axle
-
-
Use the included cleaning brush or tweezers to carefully remove any material.
4. Rotate and Clean the Wheel
-
Gently rotate the wheel with your hand.
-
Ensure it spins smoothly without resistance.
-
Wipe the outer edge of the wheel using a dry, soft cloth.
Do not spray water or cleaning liquid directly into the wheel assembly.
5. Turn the Power Back On
-
After cleaning, place the robot back upright and turn the power switch to ON (“–”).
-
Run a short cleaning test to confirm the issue is resolved.
If the error persists after following these steps, please contact the Floorbotics support team for assistance.
