To maintain hygienic cleaning results and avoid odour or damage, it is important to clean the mop cloth and water tank of your VR 35 after each use. This guide explains the proper steps for safe cleaning and care.
1. Remove the Water Tank and Mop Cloth
-
Detach the water tank from the robot.
-
Gently pull off the mop cloth from the bottom of the water tank.
-
Release any clips or fasteners if applicable.
2. Empty and Clean the Water Tank
-
Open the tank cover and pour out any remaining water.
-
Rinse the inside of the water tank with clean water.
-
Use a soft cloth to wipe the surfaces and remove any residue.
-
Do not rinse the tank under running water or submerge it completely, as it contains sensitive components.
3. Rinse the Mop Cloth
-
Rinse the mop cloth thoroughly under clean tap water.
-
Remove all dirt and fine dust particles.
-
Do not use detergent, bleach or fabric softener, as these may damage the material.
4. Dry Both Components
-
Air dry the mop cloth in a shaded area, away from direct sunlight.
-
Shake off excess water from the tank and leave it to dry in a well-ventilated space.
-
Ensure both the mop cloth and tank are completely dry before reassembling or storing.
Important Notes
-
Clean both the mop cloth and tank after each mopping cycle.
-
Always use tap water in the clean water tank. Do not use hot water or cleaning chemicals.
-
Remove the water tank before charging the robot.
-
Avoid storing the unit with water inside the tank or with a damp mop attached.
