How to Put VR 35 to Open Area When Stuck

📢 Voice announcement: “Please put robot to open area.”

If your VR 35 is stuck or operating in a tight space, it may not be able to scan or move properly. This message means the robot is unable to continue cleaning or mapping due to limited surroundings.

1. Pick Up and Move the Robot Manually

  • Gently lift the VR 35 using both hands.

  • Place it in a more open and flat area (e.g. centre of a room, away from obstacles).

  • Avoid placing it too close to furniture legs, corners or under shelves.

2. Check for Obstructions

  • Look around the robot’s location and check if it is:

    • Too close to walls or large furniture

    • Stuck between chair legs

    • In an area with low ceiling clearance

  • Relocate the dock if needed to give the robot more space during operation.

3. Resume Operation

  • After moving the robot, press the start button or use the app to restart cleaning.

  • The robot should now be able to continue scanning and mapping normally.

4. Prevent Future Stuck Warnings

  • Always keep at least 0.5m of space on both sides and 0.8m in front of the dock.

  • Avoid placing the dock or robot in very narrow or reflective areas.

  • Use the app’s no-go zones to prevent the robot from entering tight spaces.

If the robot continues to display the message even in an open area, please contact the Floorbotics support team for further assistance.
