How to Clean the VR 35 Roller Brush and Side Brushes

Regular brush maintenance ensures effective cleaning and prevents debris from building up inside your VR 35. This guide explains how to safely remove, clean and reinstall the brushes.


1. Turn the Machine Off Before Cleaning

  • Ensure the power is off and the machine is not on the charging dock.

  • Flip the robot over on a clean, flat surface for easy access.


2. Remove and Clean the Side Brushes

  • Pull the side brushes upward to detach them.

  • Use the cleaning tool to remove tangled hair, dust or debris.

  • If necessary, wipe the brushes with a dry cloth.

Tip: Side brushes are marked L (left) and R (right). Reinstall accordingly.


3. Remove and Clean the Roller Brush

  • Press and hold the roller brush cover latch to release the cover.

  • Take out the roller brush carefully.

  • Use scissors or the supplied cleaning tool to remove any entangled hair or threads.

  • Clean the brush cavity using a cloth or soft brush.


4. Reinstall the Brushes

  • Insert the cleaned roller brush back into position and secure the cover until it clicks.

  • Reattach the side brushes by pressing them down firmly into place.


Maintenance Tip

  • Clean all brushes once a week to maintain optimal performance.
