VR 35 Max Not Turning On: What to Check First

If your VR 35 Max is not powering on, the issue is often related to charging or environmental conditions. This article outlines a few simple checks to help you identify and resolve the problem efficiently.

1. Confirm Battery Level

The robot may not turn on if the battery is fully depleted.

  • Place the machine on the charging dock and ensure that the contacts align properly.

  • Allow it to charge for a few minutes. If the battery level is below 20%, the machine may not respond immediately.

  • Ensure the machine is started from the dock and avoid turning it on manually during initial charging.

2. Verify the Charging Dock Is Powered

Check that the dock is receiving power correctly:

  • Ensure the power cable is firmly connected to both the wall socket and the dock.

  • Confirm that the dock's indicator light is illuminated. If not, try a different socket or inspect the cable.

  • Make sure there is no obstruction between the robot and the charging contacts on the dock.

3. Ensure Appropriate Room Temperature

The VR 35 Max is designed to operate in environments with a temperature between 0°C and 40°C.

  • If the room is too cold or too hot, the robot may not start as a safety precaution.

  • Move the robot to a room within the recommended temperature range and attempt to power it on again.

4. Perform a Force Restart (If Necessary)

If the machine remains unresponsive after verifying the above:

  • Locate the Reset button on the underside of the machine.

  • Using a pin or similar object, press and hold the reset button for 3 seconds.

  • This may help recover the system in the event of a software freeze or incomplete boot.

5. Contact Support if the Issue Persists

If the VR 35 Max still does not respond:

  • Inspect the machine for any visible signs of damage.

  • Avoid attempting any disassembly or repairs.

  • Please contact our support team for further assistance.
