VR 35 Max Making Strange Noise During Cleaning

If your VR 35 Max produces unusual noise while operating, it may be due to tangled debris in the brush or wheel components. This article explains what to check and how to resolve the issue.

1. Stop the Machine and Turn It Over Safely

  • Power off the robot and place it upside down on a clean, flat surface.

  • Make sure it is completely powered off before handling any components.

2. Check the Main Brush, Side Brush and Wheels

  • Look for hair, threads, or debris tangled around the main brush.

  • Inspect the side brushes for any obstructions.

  • Rotate the left and right wheels by hand to see if anything is stuck.

3. Remove Obstructions

  • Use the cleaning tool provided with your robot to cut or pull away any debris.

  • Be careful not to damage the brushes or scratch the internal housing.

  • Reinstall the brushes once fully cleaned.

4. Prevent Future Noise

  • Clean the brushes once a week as part of regular maintenance.

  • Avoid running the machine over stringy or loose materials.

If the noise continues after cleaning the brushes and wheels, please contact the Floorbotics support team for assistance.
