VR 35 Max Isn’t Cleaning the Mop Pad Properly

If the VR 35 Max is not rinsing or cleaning the mop pad effectively, the issue is often related to water tank levels or a blockage in the dock’s cleaning system. This article outlines the key points to check.

1. Check the Clean Water Tank

  • Open the clean water tank on the dock and check the water level.

  • If the tank is empty, refill it with tap water (not distilled or purified water).

  • Ensure the tank is seated correctly in the dock.

2. Empty the Dirty Water Tank

  • A full dirty water tank may prevent the dock from completing mop pad cleaning.

  • Remove the dirty water tank, empty it fully and rinse it if necessary.

  • Reinsert it securely into the dock.

3. Inspect the Cleaning Tank

  • Open the dock and check the internal cleaning tray and cleaning tank area.

  • If the cleaning tank is full, drain the water and clean the water outlet.

  • Use the supplied cleaning brush to remove any residue or buildup.

4. Test the Dirty Water Pump

  • If the dock still doesn’t rinse the mop pad, the pump may not be functioning correctly.

  • Press the pumping key on the cleaning dock to manually test the dirty water pump.

  • Listen for any motor activity and check if water is being moved.

If mop pad cleaning remains incomplete after these checks, please contact the Floorbotics support team for assistance.
