The Quad 800 uses several parts that wear out over time, including brushes, filters and squeegee strips. Knowing when to replace these consumables is key to maintaining strong cleaning performance and avoiding unnecessary downtime. While daily and weekly cleaning helps, parts still need to be replaced at the right time based on usage and floor conditions.

Roller Brushes

Roller brushes scrub the floor directly, so they wear down gradually through contact with dust, debris and hard surfaces.

Replace the roller brushes if:

  • The bristles have worn down to the red indicator layer

  • The brush is no longer making proper contact with the floor

  • Cleaning performance has noticeably decreased

In typical use, brushes may last several months. Heavily used machines may need replacements more often.

Filter Element

The filter element helps protect the recovery system by capturing fine dirt and dust. Daily rinsing extends its life, but it still needs to be replaced eventually.

Replace the filter if:
