The Quad 800 is designed to filter clean water before it reaches the brushes. Inside the solution tank is a filter element that helps block debris or sediment from entering the system. Regularly cleaning this filter helps maintain consistent water flow and prevents cleaning interruptions caused by clogs.
What the Filter Does
The solution tank filter element is made of PP cotton and sits inside the clean water tank. It keeps unwanted particles from reaching the nozzles or internal water lines, which is especially important when using tap water that may contain minerals or residue.
How to Clean the Filter Element
If the filter is installed and the sewage filtration function is in use, follow these steps:
-
Open the clean water tank
-
Locate and remove the filter element
-
Rinse it thoroughly under clean running water
-
Shake off excess water
-
Reinsert the filter securely into its original position
Avoid using detergent or brushes that may damage the filter material.
When Cleaning Is Not Needed
If your Quad 800 is not using the filtration function or if no filter is installed, this step can be skipped. However, if the filter is in place, it should be cleaned regularly as part of your standard routine.
How Often to Do This
-
Clean after each use if the filtration function is active
-
Clean at least once per day in general use
-
Clean more frequently in areas with hard water or fine dust
